A new body of work by local veteran Lisa Montag Brotman is at Gallery Neptune, 4901 Cordell Ave., Bethesda, through June 7. In "Rapt," the artist invites viewers closer to subjects directly related to women she has portrayed previously. She chose the title as a summary of adjectives that "describe an intangible sensation for women who....investigate what is alluring without the threat of losing their ability to discern between reality and false expectations" Hours are Wednesday through Saturday, noon to 7 PM.
